Oleksandr Salko

Oleksandr has considerable experience in successfully representing and protecting the rights and interests in complex litigation of his clients, including multinationals, foreign investors, public entities, the Government and the State. He has extensive knowledge of the civil and commercial legislation of Ukraine as well of relevant laws governing the ownership and use of land.

He began his career as a lawyer in 2003 in the Department of International Relations at the Khmelnytsky Institute of Regional Management and Law, where he also held the post of assistant scientific secretary.

From 2004-2009 Oleksandr worked on his thesis at the Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Also, he held the post of assistant Head of Council of Scientific and Legal expertise.

In 2007 he joined the law firm «Moor & Krosondovich» (later «Moor & Partners»), where he worked as an associate and then senior associate until 2015.

In 2015 he commenced public service at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine as an assistant to the Minister of Justice. He worked in the Department of Litigation, then in the Department of Justice and National Security.

Oleksandr joined Hillmont in February 2017.

He graduated with honors from Khmelnitsky Institute of Regional Management and Law and completed his postgraduate studies at Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

In December 2015, Oleksandr was officially recognized by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for his outstanding contribution to the implementation of State legal policy and for achievements in strengthening the rule of law.
